


The interior with decorated pictorial endpapers is in very good to fine with beautiful illustrations by the author Holling Clancy Holling and the Conestoga Wagon details by Arthur Woodward author of Navajo Silver Smithing and Director of History and Anthropolgy at the Los Angeles Museum. Some minor scuffing to corners, a repaired tear to front, chip at top and bottom of spine. DJ has a fantastic painting of the tree and landscape and is bright and sharp.

Unclipped Dust Jacket shows price of $3.00 indicating a later printing, but rear of DJ is review for just the Paddle to the Sea. Pictorial endpapers of Indians, frontiersmen and conquistadors. Green cloth boards with the tree illustrated on cover and titling, both in blue.
